Juniper Networks Powers Tenaga Nasional's New MPLS Backbone
Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR) today announced that Tenaga Nasional
Berhad (MYX: 5347), Southeast Asia's largest power utility, has
migrated corporate and non-real time operational data traffic to the
first phase of a new IP/MPLS backbone based on Juniper Networks(R) MX
Series Universal Edge Routers running the Junos(R) operating system.
Deployment of the MX480 and MX240 routers as part of a total solution
provides Tenaga with a secure and reliable high-performance network
that enables it to reduce operational costs and introduce new
converged IP applications.
