SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

The Senior Product Manager will report directly to the VP of Product Management and will have primary responsibility for driving the strategic vision and management of the TouchClarity Behavioral Targeting product line(s). The candidate will work closely with the development group and other product managers to develop and grow the product strategy. The ideal candidate will also be a product evangelist with the ability to clearly discuss and communicate product value and benefits to customers, prospects, and partners. The successful candidate will also have very broad technical background in behavioral targeting and content management technologies. Regular communication (verbal and written) will be required with executive level personnel in engineering, sales and marketing, including partner organizations.

The Senior Product Manager plays a critical role in the creation and management of Omniture products. Some representative duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Identify new areas for product development by analyzing customer requirements, market trends and competitive gaps. Champion and present opportunity to management for consideration.
  • Evangelizing the product vision throughout the organization
  • Work with business units, engineering, and other product managers to define and manage the roadmap and strategic vision for the product lines
  • Analyze the marketplace, customers, and competitors to determine the right features to bring to market along with overall feature prioritization
  • Understand and evangelize the needs of the Omniture customer base and user community
  • Monitor progress of the product through the product development life cycle, identifying risks and opportunities, keeping senior management informed
  • Manage a group of product management professionals effectively to achieve corporate goals
  • Responsible for developing market requirements documents and product requirements, including revenue models, channel strategy, and packaging.
  • Effectively manage interaction with customers via a Customer Advisory Board Program

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience at an Enterprise software company.
  • Strong technical understanding of Internet technologies and the operations of commercial web analytics solutions, CMS systems, and/or behavioral marketing.
  • The ability to lead and inspire cross-functional groups
  • Experience and level of comfort presenting concepts to senior executives
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven track record of defining product requirements on schedule and shipping successful products.
  • B.S. or B.A. required, MBA preferred
  • Leadership Experience in Web Analytics, Business Intelligence, Behavioral Targeting, or Content Management Solution products a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
