As a Financial Analyst you will play a key role providing comprehensive analysis and managing complex projects, initiatives and programs. Some representative duties of the Financial Analyst are as follows:

• Supporting periodic processes, including monthly financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting, along with related coordination and communication.

• Reconciling and reporting headcount.

• Developing and providing compliance reporting.

• Compiling and publishing consolidated reporting.

• Partnering with groups to drive their business objectives through key financial analysis, reporting and process improvement.

• Serving as the finance interface between business customers’ and other business groups, with exposure to a wide range of management.

• Consulting with management on appropriate corporate accounting treatment and processes ensuring consistency with corporate policies.

• Providing insightful analysis on operating expenses through understanding of key business drivers.

• Conducting ad-hoc reporting and analysis, including special projects resulting from changing business requirements and initiatives sponsored driven by management.

A successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting. Looking for a self starter who is proactive versus reactive and action oriented with a strong desire to get things done Strong spreadsheet competency with Excel required and a knowledge of other MS based products (e.g. Access, PowerPoint, Word)

• definite asset is having Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to reporting accuracy

• Effective interpersonal skills (written and oral)

• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of levels of personnel Project management skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

• Excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities Results driven focus and ability to see issues through to completion in a timely manner.
