OPTIMIZATION SPECIALIST, CLIENT SERVICES
Introduction
The responsibility of the Optimization Specialist will be to provide expert, deep level support for Omniture’s TouchClarity and Offermatica products. These products drive measurable value for our top-tier clients through the dynamic control of website real estate, for the purposes of multi-variate or A/B testing and dynamic behavioural targeting of onsite content.
As part of a small but expanding, dynamic team, you will be required to become a subject-matter expert on these specialized products to provide deep knowledge for Omniture Account Managers and Consultants, manage relationships with clients and ensure the use of these products drives tangible value for our clients.
As a specialist for these products, you will also be expected to contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of Omniture’s Optimization Suite and their integration points with other Omniture products and services.
Description
To effectively manage ongoing relationships with high-value clients to ensure client retention
To work with account managers on opportunities for the growth of Omniture’s business within a client organization
To quickly build and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with clients and add value through an appreciation of quantitative marketing methods.
To manage the technical configuration of the TouchClarity and Offermatica systems and reports to meet Client’s business needs and provide ongoing support.
To quickly and effectively interpret client performance data to ensure they leverage our solutions as much as possible.
To provide proactive monitoring of client usage of Omniture Optimization tools to ensure that any difficulties are flagged up.
To partner with product management and development teams on bugfixes and new product developments.
Qualifications
Education: A bachelor’s degree majoring in a technical (eg. Maths/Engineering/Computer Science) discipline.
1-2 years in web technologies, web analytics, online targeting or testing.
Exceptional organizational and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent understanding of Client business issues in relation to the online channel.
Excellent data analysis skills to identify trends and recommend solutions to Clients.
Attention to detail and ownership of activities is vital.
Creativity and adaptability in resolving technical and logical problems.
Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript technologies
Desired experience
Experience in quantitative marketing methods (e.g. CRM, database marketing) would be an advantage
Knowledge of Internet Marketing, Ad-serving, Search Engine Optimization or Affiliate Marketing would also be an advantage (PPC etc…)
Knowledge or experience of popular Content Management Systems would be an advantage
Knowledge or experience of top-tier web analytics products (Omniture, WebTrends, WebSideStory, Coremetrics) would be a great advantage
