Omniture is currently hiring a highly motivated and technically talented Systems Engineer/Administrator seeking an exciting opportunity with a market-leading breakthrough technology in a high-growth environment. The Systems Administrator role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the production and in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The System Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. The position can be based in either our Orem, UT or Herndon, VA offices.

Design, maintain, and deploy Microsoft Server based operating systems and technology solutions

Configure and maintain Active Directory

Install, configure, maintain, and monitor all server hardware and software

Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on all network and server hardware and software

Participate in an on-call rotation for issue escalation

Ability to mentor Jr. System Administrators

5+ years Windows Systems Administration with experience including Active Directory, IIS, and Java

Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SSL

Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends

Experience with a wide variety of Industry Standard Servers (ISS) including HP, Dell, or IBM

Experience working in large scale deployments (hundreds to thousands of servers)

Significant experience working in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment

Hands-on experience with network infrastructure device administration such as switches, firewalls and server load balancers

Hands-on experience with installation and troubleshooting of Industry Standard Server hardware and RAID controllers

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field is strongly encouraged

Excellent troubleshooting & problem solving skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral) and ability to establish and maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with a variety people

Ability to lift and install devices, up to 70 pounds in weight
