DIRECTOR/MANAGER, SALES REPORTING & AUTOMATION

Introduction

The Director/Manager Sales Reporting & Automation will own the development of the long and short-term strategies for sales reporting, sales tools and sales automation. The job will entail using tools such as Salesforce.com, Database / Business Intelligence and object oriented programming to bring efficiency and scale to a rapidly growing sales and service organization. This individual will be a key member of the WW Sales Operations team and will work closely with Sales Management, Finance, Marketing and IT to facilitate cross functional efficiencies in the support of Sales via reporting and automation.

Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales tools and technologies to enable sales
  • Lead the project management of reporting systems and enhancements
  • Manage the ongoing growth of user knowledge via live and web based training programs
  • Manage the delivery of sales business information to users, content owners, and technical resources
  • Evaluating & prioritizing user enhancement requests against the development resource usage and expense
  • Manage the effectiveness and accuracy of reporting systems
  • Monitor all changes to source systems input, functionality, and hierarchies for all sources of sales reporting
  • Document and monitor new and changing business processes and adjust / develop reporting and automation to support these processes
  • Develop and actively manage direct reports to provide career development opportunities and backfill competencies in the department

  • Qualifications

    Required Experience and Education

  • This individual must be hands-on and ready to roll up their sleeves to deliver immediate results
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the ability to understand and analyze business requirements and turn those into technical solutions
  • Knowledge and understanding of business process design and management
  • Ability to lead complex projects involving cross-functional departments
  • Ability to independently identify problems, propose solutions and execute on those solutions
  • Expert hands on skills with sales information or business systems applications, specifically database management, report writing, object oriented programming, Saleforce.com administration - Experience with SAP is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate using varying communication styles for the same subject matter when translating user/business requirements to IT, and technical changes to users
  • Bachelors Degree with emphasis in MIS, Finance or Business Admin required
  • Minimum 5 years experience
