Director, Organization Capability As Director of Organization Capability, you will be responsible for developing and managing the overall talent and organization capability agenda for Omniture employees globally. This position offers a mix of opportunities and will require expertise in several key areas – Organization Consulting & Talent frameworks, Learning, Leadership/Management Development, and Organization Effectiveness. In addition, there is an opportunity to help drive a broader effort around adoption of the “aspire-to” culture across Omniture. Included in this role’s accountabilities are the assessment of learning and career development needs for various employee audiences, and the creation and delivery of broad-reach training and development programs that address those needs. The purpose of this position is to accelerate the development of our leaders, managers, and top performers to ensure that our employees have the capabilities required to step into larger roles and help scale the growth of Omniture’s organization.

Description

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the VPHR and directly with senior business leaders in creating/driving a talent and organization capability development strategy
  • Identify, assess and understand the developmental needs of key employee audiences (employee, manager, high-potential performers, leaders in each discipline – engineering, etc.)
  • Create a learning and development strategy/road-map and the component training programs and other career development solutions that address identified needs/gaps
  • Act as a central expert on Management and Leadership training and development
  • Leadership capability – help assess leadership capability and talent gaps; develop training programs and coaching activities for leaders
  • Scope and implement specific change initiatives within individual businesses and across the organization
  • Program Manage all acquisition-related organization and culture integration work
  • Employ sound instructional and information design as well as a strong understanding of Omniture culture and learning style to create best-in-class curriculum/development offerings
  • Evaluate program data/results/trends and provide analysis to ensure all learning and career development offerings are of a high-quality that address critical business/employee developmental needs
  • Develop and implement employee engagement survey with associated metrics and action planning strategy
  • Build and Manage the Omniture learning & development budget, partnering with VPHR and other senior leaders as appropriate
  • Manage/coordinate work with external learning & development vendors and other contract resources as needed to deliver key programs/initiatives
  • Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in OD, Learning, Change management or related disciplines
  • Degree in business/HR or related field required. Advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in consulting on complex strategic change initiatives
  • Capacity to think systemically and understand and navigate high-growth organization change processes
  • Experience in dealing with and influencing senior executives
  • Strong client management and business development skills, cross-boundary collaboration skills a must
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent project/program management and consulting skills
  • Knowledge/practice of effective use of learning theory and curriculum design
  • Organizational agility and the ability to read the subtle nuances of a situation and react/plan accordingly
