As a BI Developer, you will play a key role in gathering data as well as administering and developing the systems that finance uses to provide comprehensive analysis and reporting. This role requires that you work alongside the business experts and technical experts to help them bridge the gap between these areas to help analyze and address current business challenges, while assisting them in understanding how to best leverage the tools to help achieve primary business objectives. Some representative duties of the BI Developer are as follows:

• Developing, designing, and deploying business intelligence solutions
• Working in teams responsible for implementing and developing reporting and analytical solutions
• Participating in full life-cycle project development
• Requirements gathering
• Current and Future State analysis
• Gap Analysis
• Solution Implementation
• Best Practice Utilization
• Back End configuration/customization of the tool(s)
• Training End Users

A successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to accuracy
• BS degree in Information Systems (IS) with business experience, or Finance degree with IS experience
• A basic understanding of business (Revenues, Expenses, Assets, etc).
• Guru in Excel: including Pivot tables, Data Importing, and Macros/VBA
• Transact SQL/MS SQL server experience
• OLAP experience nice to have, but not required – TM1 or Outlooksoft Experience big plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of levels of personnel
• Project management skills with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities Results driven focus and ability to see issues through to completion in a timely manner.
• A true self-starter who is always striving for improvement and is not satisfied with the Status-Quo
