What does this acquisition mean to me?

With this transition, you now have access to the broadest, most complete set of Web analytics and related on-line marketing applications available on the market. Omniture is focused on preserving the value and investment you have made and will work hard to make this a smooth transition for your business. Now that the transaction is closed, our intention is to bring together the best products and features of both companies and integrate them to provide a richer solution set for the combined customer base. Omniture’s focus is recognizing the synergies of the newly combined Visual Sciences and Omniture product lines to deliver increased benefits to the Omniture customer community.

Will I have to migrate from HBX to SiteCatalyst?

As a current HBX customer, you can continue to use HBX as your Web analytics solution. Omniture will continue to support HBX and you will have access to the same services and support teams.

We believe that HBX customers will want to migrate to SiteCatalyst to take advantage of its unique capabilities and the additional products available in the Omniture online business optimization platform. Should you choose to migrate, you can take advantage of a migration program that is flexible and fits the unique needs of your business.

How quickly can I migrate from HBX to SiteCatalyst?

Please contact your account or services manager to schedule your migration.

Will I need to invest time in learning new functionality?

As with any new application, there will be a certain amount of time required to get up-to-speed. Omniture is committed to ensuring you are successful as quickly as possible. Omniture University has a variety of training programs for HBX customers transition to SiteCatalyst.

Will we need to change our campaign tracking codes?

The Omniture professional services team will work with you to determine the best approach for your business when migrating to SiteCatalyst. Part of this process will be to review your implementation, to understand your business goals and objectives, and to determine what the appropriate implementation looks like based on this discussion.

What will happen to all of my reports and data?

When you migrate to Omniture SiteCatalyst, historical data will be maintained and accessible within HBX.

What resources do we need to allocate internally to get through the migration process?

The Omniture services team will work with you to determine the migration approach that makes sense for your business. It is typical for a business resource and a technical resource to be available for this process. Omniture is committed to a process that minimizes disruption to your users and your business and positions you for long-term success.

How is Omniture SiteCatalyst different from HBX?

What is happening to Platform 5 and its related applications?

Omniture will continue to invest in Platform 5 and its related applications, such as Visual Site and Visual Call. Platform 5 has been renamed to Omniture Discover OnPremise. Omniture now offers both an on-demand and on-premise solution for advanced segmentation and analysis.

Will I continue to work with the services and support team I know from Visual Sciences?

In most cases, the day-to-day account and services contacts for Visual Sciences customers will not change.
