Partner Program Structure
Our unified program recognizes four partner types and membership levels designed to provide a framework for partner success. We are continuously reevaluating the needs of our partner community and will accept applications from companies with varying business models.
Partner Types
Omniture offers four partnership types. Although partners may fit in more than one category, a partner’s category is based on their primary business model and sources of revenue.
- Application Partners (APs)
Qualified applicants to the Application Partners program are vendors with their own commercial hardware or software that integrates with Omniture’s solutions to provide enhanced functionality to our joint-customers. (Though APs may sign referral and reseller agreements, their primary business focus is selling their software to their own end-customers).
- Platform Partners (PPs)
Qualified applicants to the Platform Partners program integrate best-of-breed applications to sell platforms consisting of Omniture, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and/or hosting to specific industries or geographies. PPs typically outsource entire eCommerce or online marketing operations for their customers. (Most PPs sign referral and/ or reseller agreements with Omniture).
- Services Partners (SPs)
Qualified applicants to the Services Partners program deliver marketing strategy, integration, training or business process consulting around Omniture technologies to our joint-customers (Though SP’s may sign referral or reseller agreements, their primary business focus is the sale of fee-based professional services). [Includes Marketing Agencies, Consultancies, and Training Partners]
- Value-Added Resellers (VARs)
Qualified applicants to the Value-added Reseller Program are resellers or distributors of software and/or hardware whose primary business focus is the sales of third-party technology. VARs resell Omniture branded technology through channels indirect to Omniture.
Partner Levels
The Omniture Partner Program contains three open levels and one restricted level of partnership. Omniture has designed this program to allow partners to continually increase their level of participation and benefits. Omniture reviews its partnerships annually. Existing partnerships are evaluated for strategic fit, certification and accreditation achievements, and business performance.
Omniture offers four partnership levels:
- Strategic Alliance Level
- Platinum Partner Level
- Gold Partner Level
- Silver Partner Level
Each partner program level has unique requirements and benefits.
- Strategic Alliance Level
Strategic Alliances are reserved and are offered to a select set of companies willing to make the highest level of commitment to Omniture. Strategic Partners are characterized as global leaders and typically represent the standard in their industry, specialty or vertical market. Strategic Partners are also generally multinational with significant presence in multiple geographic regions.
- Platinum Partner Level
Platinum Partners have committed to higher levels of revenue and have multiple certified professionals on staff. These partners have accredited their integrations where applicable. This level consists of market leaders, usually multinational. Their relationship is often exclusive to Omniture. Platinum partners and Omniture make substantial investments in technology, certification, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Gold Partner Level
Gold Partners have paid their program fees and have formally committed to Omniture’s leads referral agreement. Gold partners are typically national business that have certified some of their staff, and/or accredited their application integrations where applicable.
- Silver Partner Level
The Silver Partner level is an open level of membership. Partners at this level have executed the Omniture alliance agreement and demonstrated plans to leverage Omniture technology to extend, complete and implement business solutions. Silver Partners usually have a local or regional presence.
