Deals researcher/writer
An enthusiastic, friendly consumer or deals writer is required to join the editorial team to ensure deals pages are up to date as well as write & research content for the MSE deals section. Training will be available but an understanding of shopping deals is desirable.
The role would be suitable for a recent graduate with the NCTJ qualification or someone currently working for a deals site.
The job will involve:
Checking current content to ensure it's up to date & accurate
Finding and investigating deals
Contacting press offices
Writing and researching MoneySaving tips
Requirements
This is office based, so you must currently be based in the UK, within commuting distance of our office in Shepherd’s Bush, West London.
Applicants must have:
Excellent written/spoken English
An impeccable eye for detail
Excellent research skills
The confidence to question when something doesn’t make sense or isn’t clear
The flexibility to work to several deadlines & good time management skills
Good knowledge of the internet
The following are desirable though not essential:
Some knowledge of HTML would be well received

Monday to Friday, plus late nights on a Tuesday press day.

Insurance Journalist/Analyst
MoneySavingExpert.com is looking for someone with specialist insurance market knowledge, specifically mass-scale retail products including car, buildings & contents, travel, life and payment protection insurance to join its editorial team in London.
The role will involve updating existing insurance guides with accurate information and current best-buy products/comparisons, being responsible for writing any new insurance guides as required, as well as a core responsibility of researching of latest developments in the market.
Requirements
Very high levels of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail
Knowledge of insurance market & products
Ability to keep up-to-date with developments and spot future areas of interest

Junior Web Developer
MSE is looking for an enthusiastic junior developer to join our small but busy team in West London.
The role will primarily involve (but is not limited to) maintaining and developing our extremely busy Forum, working with production code and making modifications to enhance functionality.
Previous experience of forum software is preferable but not necessary and an understanding of a forum’s role and function is a definite advantage.

Internships available ...
MSE runs a rolling series of internships for MoneySavers looking to develop their careers and get relevant experience. These may be suitable for students able to work in the holidays, recent graduates or career changers.
It's important to understand these internships are not a prelude to a full time job with MSE, they strictly last three months only; the aim is to provide appropriate experience to boost your chosen career. However, in return, we expect some hard work and a real contribution to the team.
To help with expenses for the intern period MSE will pay minimum wage.

Editorial Team Interns
We currently have an internship position in our consumer team available. We're a friendly but busy team so be prepared to hit the ground running! We won't ask you to make tea (unless you want to!) and we would like your input into editorial meetings and brainstorms.
Money Team Intern
This is an opportunity for someone to get involved in the work of the site focused on researching the top financial products. You’ll gain skills in fact checking, writing, checking legitimacy, liaising with press offices and of course MoneySaving.
Suitable for: It's a great opportunity for anyone looking to get into journalism/media, particularly those with a strong maths ability.
