Martin's Money Tips
We do collect your e-mail address when you register to receive Martin's Money Tips email. We do not share your e-mail address with 3rd parties and your e-mail address will never be sold onto a 3rd party. Your e-mail address will be stored in a secure Database hosted in a secure site.
If you wish to stop receiving Martin's Money Tips, you can do so at any time by entering your e-mail address and clicking the ‘stop it' button on this page: www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips. If you need to contact us directly you can do so at postmaster@moneysavingexpert.com
Forums
We collect your e-mail address if you register as a participant in our forums. We only use this address to send you your password to enable you to log into our forums or to send you e-mail notices if you have elected to receive them on this page. When you register, you can choose whether to permit your e-mail address to be viewable by other users of the forums.
If you complete the profile facility in our forums, it will be viewable by other users, but other than that, we make no use of it.
We do not monitor our forums or any of the communications between our users (e.g. private messaging). However, we may record and use particular communications that are posted in connection with any investigation of any possible misuse of the forums or any other communication systems that we operate.
IP addresses and Cookies
When you use our chat forums, we log the IP addresses of users' computers which we use solely for administration and trouble shooting purposes.

- in our chat forums, as they are part of the software that powers the chat forums and are needed to stay logged-in if you wish to post messages or reply to messages.
- On our main site to track the pages and articles visited. We use this information to see which items are (or are not) of greatest interest to MoneySavers.

We collect your e-mail address if you register to save your budget(s) on budgetbrain.com. We only use this address to send you your password to enable you to log into budgetbrain.com to view and amend your budget/s. Any information entered into Budgetbrain.com will remain confidential to you and will not be accessible by any 3rd parties and can be permanently deleted by you at any time

We use reasonable precautions to keep the information disclosed to us secure. However, we cannot guarantee the security of the information that you disclose to us. This policy is effective from 9 March 2010 and replaces with immediate effect the privacy policy previously published on 5 January 2010. Section 1 has changed.
