Course Description
This course covers the Discover OnPremise configuration and architecture for personnel who will be responsible for translating their users’ analysis needs and reporting requirements to the dataset and profile configuration available. Attendees are presented with a detailed synopsis of the architecture, the fields of data available via HTTP requests and responses, instruction on data acquisition, and the configuration of various components of an application to process and prepare data for analysis and reporting purposes.
This course discusses the creation and configuration of dimensions to extend the standard Omniture Discover OnPremise dataset, while also presenting the key stages of data processing, profile creation and configuration, log source definition, specialized transformations for manipulating and cleansing data, conditions, and the use of data transformation and integration engines.
Target Audience
This course is specifically designed for personnel who function as the Omniture Discover OnPremise technical lead—the individual within the organization who is responsible for translating clients’ business requirements into specific Discover OnPremise transformations and dimensions by making dataset design and configuration decisions.
