By providing and evaluating tracking data from clients' web sites, Omniture is able to redirect consumers, increase viewership, and grow sales and profitability. "Whether it is improving their campaign effectiveness, improving their close rate, improving their merchandising ability, whatever it is they are trying to do, we help them understand how [the customer] found it, what searches people are using to find it. All that information is what we track," says James. Whatever Omniture is doing, it must be working. "We have 100 percent retention," James claims.

Novell Inc. of Orem has decided to renew its vendor's agreement with Omniture, a provider of Web site analytical applications. Novell will use the company's SiteCatalyst product to track Internet traffic flow, path dynamics and revenue generation on sites it serves.

Omniture achieves record growth
Omniture, an Orem-based software company that provides web analytics to large complex Web sites, and began in 1996, announced that the company recorded over 350 percent revenue growth from 2001 to 2002 and had finally reached profitability, having had a positive cash flow for several months.
